Wow – over a month since my last post. It’s been a crazy month with client projects (both paid and volunteer) having a number of major deadlines. In addition I’ve been trying to get my presentation finished for the CMG 2008 conference.
For those who don’t know, the Computer Measurement Group (CMG) is an international organization that focuses on sharing information on the measurement, tuning, planning, and management of IT systems. It’s a great resource for those of us who are involved with IT infrastructures, and I’ve been a member, off and on, for over 20 years. This year I finally decided to take the plunge and write a paper and I had the honour of it being accepted. The paper is called “Performance and Capacity Management in an Outsourced Environment”, and if you are at CMG this year I will be presenting it on Friday Dec 12th during the last session (10:30a-11:30a).
While I am here I will be blogging a but about some of the sessions, so please check back.
